Effective Date: 16 August 2025
1. Purpose
This policy defines the terms under which Tucker Motors Private Limited (“Tucker”) will refund the wallet balance available in a customer’s Tucker App wallet.
2. Applicability
This policy applies to:
- Customers who have topped up their Tucker App wallet for EV charging or related services.
- Funds loaded using UPI, card, net banking, or other accepted payment methods.
- This policy helps us provide a stable, reliable, and user-friendly charging experience for all customers on the Tucker network.
Minimum Balance & Service Fee Policy
- To ensure uninterrupted charging sessions and smooth operation of the Tucker EV charging network, the Tucker mobile application maintains a minimum wallet balance of ₹30 for every user account.
- This ₹30 is considered a platform service fee, maintained in the wallet to support operational costs, transaction processing, and to prevent interruption while starting or running a charging session.
3. Eligible Refund Scenarios
A refund request will be accepted only in the following cases:
- Service Termination If a customer decides to permanently stop using Tucker services and deletes their Tucker account.
Upon confirmation of account deletion, Tucker will refund the remaining wallet balance, including the mandatory ₹30 minimum balance, to the customer as per the refund process.
- Duplicate Top-Up – A technical error causes the same payment to be credited more than once.
- Unusable Chargers – If a charging session cannot be completed due to:
- Power failure,
- Software update or system downtime,
- Manufacturing defect in Tucker equipment, or
- Technical fault attributable to Tucker.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
No refund will be issued if:
- Funds were credited via promotional offers, coupons, or free credits (non-cashable).
- The account is under investigation for misuse, fraud, or violation of Tucker’s Terms & Conditions.
